CHLOE EARLY ARTWORK

Born 1980 in London, Chloe Early grew up in Cork, Ireland. Since graduating from NCAD Dublin in 2003 she has pursued her panting practice and exhibited regularly in Cork, Dublin and London.
Early’s current works are oil painting on aluminium and canvas. The paintings progress through the introduction of a series of objects which work alongside each other to create a parallel universe. A universe where glaciers sit cheek by jowl with architecture, or palm trees grow out of building sites. Little figures inhabit these peculiar worlds, often alone or in couples they seem oblivious to their surroundings. The bronzed and beautiful figures brings a sense of escapism, glamour and kitsch into the paintings and contrast with the architectural backdrops.
In 2006 Early moved to london which is where she lives and works. She is represented by Stolen Space gallery.
